Little Deers staff arrive early to ensure the pre-school is set up and ready. We feel it is important for the children to be able to come in and play straight away, and by doing this it helps with the settling in process with new children, attention is on exciting toys and activities as soon as they arrive, this makes it easier for the child, and the parent/carer who drops them off.
We have a selection of equipment, games and toys, which are rotated in line with the planning to offer a full range of activities and types of play. We are also fortunate to have a huge outdoor area, along with some chickens and a rabbit which the children are fully involved in taking care of them
A regular newsletter is produced to keep you informed on important dates or information.
When your child starts with us, you are welcome to remain with your child for as long as you feel is necessary to settle them in, we have total flexibility to ensure we meet your child’s needs.
Your child will be appointed a key worker, who will support your child throughout their time at the pre-school and offer them the best possible start to school life; all children are different so we work together adapting our learning environment to the individual child and their needs.
