Little Deers offers high-quality, affordable childcare in Plymstock, near Plymouth. Based at the Beckly Centre on Mayers Way, we're fortunate to be beside Radford Woods, where children enjoy daily walks.
Our friendly pre-school provides a safe, nurturing environment where children learn, play, socialise, and most importantly—have fun—guided by experienced, caring staff.

Our Offer:
At Little Deers, we create a welcoming and engaging start to each day. Our staff arrive early to ensure the pre-school is fully set up, allowing children to begin playing as soon as they arrive—helping them settle in with ease and making drop-offs smoother for parents and carers.
We provide a wide variety of toys, games, and equipment, carefully rotated in line with our planning to support a rich mix of activities and play experiences.
Nestled in the heart of Radford Woods, we make the most of our natural surroundings with daily outdoor adventures, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and a love of nature.
Funding
At Little Deers, we accept all government-funded childcare schemes, as well as direct payments via Tax-Free Childcare accounts, to help make quality childcare more affordable for families.
Eligible working parents in England can currently access 15 hours of funded childcare per week for children aged 9 months to 2 years, increasing to 30 hours from September 2025. For children aged 3 and 4, up to 30 hours per week is already available. To use this entitlement, parents must apply for an eligibility code through the HMRC's Childcare Choices website.
All Children aged 3 and 4 are eligible for 15 hours of funding regardless of parents employment status.
