Meet our team!

We have a passionate and experienced team at Little Deers, working together to achieve a shared goal of providing a quality preschool experience for all our Little Deers.


Nikki joined Little Deers in 2011 and has been working with children since 2008 after a career as a veterinary nurse.

Nikki has two children and enjoys watching musicals at the theatre and spending time with her dog Stan.

Jo joined Little Deers in 2018, and is currently studying for a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, now in her final year of training. Jo holds a Level 3 NNEB in Nursery Nursing and a Level 3 qualification in Play work with a total of 27 years of experience in childcare.

Jo enjoys swimming and spending time with her family including her 11 year old daughter, cat Mollie and rabbit Hugo.

Tina has been part of Little Deers for going on 30 years, and has a deep passion for the pre school.

Tina also has two children. Her son is in the army and daughter works for the NHS.

Tina Booth - Deputy Manager



Katie supports Tina in the Preschool room. Katie is an Art Teacher and SEN teaching assistant with over 15 years of experience working with children in various positions including as a primary school teacher and museum educator. Katie has a passion for expressive art and design and loves to encourage and support the children’s fine motor skills. Katie particularly enjoys setting up inviting art and sensory activities for children to explore.

Katie has two children and enjoys spending time with her family, visiting beaches and exploring cities.

Molly

Molly has recently joined Little Deers in the 2-3’s room. Molly has been working in Early Years for a little over 2 year and hold a Level 2 qualification in Early Years Childcare and is working towards her level 3.

Molly enjoys photography and spending time with family. I’m really looking forward to meeting and working the children and families at Little Deers

Zoe has been at Little Deers since 2021. Zoe completed a year’s work experience before joining as a permanent member of staff. Having work with children for 5 years Zoe is level 2 qualified and is currently working towards her level 3 which she expects to gain in April 2026. Zoe loves seeing the children achieve their milestones and achievements.

Zoe loves to spend her free time with her niece and nephew who she adores.
